It reminds me of a delicate painting. Even though the top section colours are vibrant, they are still gentle. Quite lovely. I would like it without the sun itself and just the sun's rays lighting the tree. Wonderful picture. Mary -

This image is much smaller than the photo.net one as usefilm does not support larger photos. The image needs to be viewed large for the details. Below link will give you a much larger photo.

Beautiful image & excellent write up. Love the colours in this & the darkness of the tree trunks set a great contrast. I love how you have the sunrays coming through the trees.

very beautiful Zafar excellent works, love the atmosphere and the colors, even if you don't include the sun there (crop upper part until the edge of the 'sun', left the rays of light) it would still marvelous

"Backlit Autumn leaves in Clearing Morning Mist"
Shot this picture in the morning when delicate sunlight smoothly faded the fog away and gave backlit to the autumn leaves. I have manipulated the image in PS (a composite of two images) as camera can not exactly capture these contrasty scenes as your eyes can see it. All the Film and Digital cameras have limitation of exposing only three stops difference in exposure of highlights midtones and shadows (Film being better as compared to digital) Beyond this they either under-expose or over expose. A very bright sun or even a delicate one like this where your eye can see the detail in highlights and shadows but if you photograph it the image turns up totally different. Either you have more detail in highlights and no detail in shadows or vice-versa. Tried to correct this problem and made it look the way it was to the eyes and not to the camera.
If you want you can read the comments and discussion on the above image. (5 Kilometer long page... lol) by opening this link. This link also has the technical detail and the outputs which I used for this photo.
