I've always wanted to get mean owl Darlene. Just dont know how to find them. I hear them all the time and I know that they are out there. Just need to learn the trick of locating them. It's a shame you missed part of him,(I'm sure you ran across him and had to much lens for the distance he was from you asnd didn't want to scare him off) but it certainly did not hurt the pic. Great capture with excellent detail.
