The subject and web, are nicely effective against the dark background. The very fine detail, and good exposure, show your spider off to the best effect. seven.

I have an interesting specimen, you might like, Darlene.

Beautifully taken although I really don't like spiders, but this one has very pretty colors on it's body. Alison

I first thought you captured a hermit crab, then I saw the thin threads (the web) and read the about. I love the way you presented this insect, makes him look good in spite of his obnoxiously repugnant repute. The light on that web is just right (looks like flash?) and lets me know just how thin and strong those strings of web are .. excellent image Darlene ...Gab

Not to worry, there's none under your bed, they're all over here in the trees at Lake Martin! Now go to sleep (oops that's the mom coming out in me again!) Darlene

Another Great Capture.

I would have used a 300 and stood on the road for that one, just to be on the safe side.

Great Orb Weaver, Darlene! Got a couple of shots of a few of those myself. Very interesting spiders. Never seen one with colors like that.
