excellent image.. love the scene.. I was just down in Washington D.C for the cherry blossoms (which of course were a gift from Japan :) ) have not gone through the photos yet so maybe I will post one in the future but doubt I can compete with this image... good work

Thank you Mary. My "about" sees the tree on the right as a little more warlike... but after your comment I can see it your way! I have a whole lot more of these cherry-blossom photos, but I'm afraid it's probably a case of "you've seen one, you've seen them all."

Gorgeous composition, Roger. There is a softness. The trees in the foreground look like they are dancing. In fact, the one on theright looks to me like a magician casting a gentle tone on the scene.
