Paul, I'll let you know how the 1600 works out. The advance word was that this camera had excellent noise control, but still I've been very surprised at how well it really does perform. My little OM-1 and OM-4 have just been gathering dust. I miss them sometimes, but then I realize just how liberating this digital technology truly is, and I just brush the dust away without so much as a sigh. ;-)

A rich variety of textures you have shown us. Looking forward to the 1600 series to see if the noise becomes visible! I'm thinking of getting one of these amazing cameras, maybe we are seeing the end game of 35mm film!
