Nicely done with the oil paint, the shadows really makes a big diff overall in this still life shot. Wish the bottom part of the chain (Shadow) weren't crop otherwise 2 thumbs up. Warm congrats on the SC award Ed, kind regards.

I'm amazed at the skill of the hand coloring. The hand-colored look is usually unmistakable, but this has been done with such a subtle, sensitive touch that it's hard to imagine a colour film would have looked any different--and certainly no better! The original B&W is excellent, well worth the wait for the best lighting and shadows.

I agree with Roberto the entire shadow of the chain could be an improvement (maybe) anyway an extraordinary composition - the framing makes it perfect congrats!

Great graphic abstract presentation. Interesting that it was B/W and was hand colored now that so many digital images are being desaturated to achieve B/W.
