About The funicular in Quebec City--not the place for someone like me with acrophobia. Still, I made it to the top--and back again . . . Drilan should recognize this immediately!

George,

I like the perspective, good eye for the unusal angle here. If I may split hairs a bit here :) I probably would centered it a bit more and straighten the image just a tad. But like Isaid, I'm just being picky I supposed :) Good image though. -- Warm regards, Rafael

George, at first I thought this was the funicular to the Sacre-Coeur in Paris.. (since your last shot was in Paris). I see you have been travelling again...

Albert & Olivette--Thanks for the godd information--and the advice. Now, when we go back, I can justify to my wife why I prefer to walk up and down the incline. ;-)

Regards,

Great shot,it does make us dizzy,we take it quite often.I wonder if you know, there was an accident with the funicular a few years ago.Something broke and it went crashing to the bottom and there was big injuries and I`m not to sure I think one person died in the crash. That`s why when We take it we feel a bit dizzy and scared.when you look at your photo just imagine the impact.

There is one in Johnstown, PA said to be the steepest in the world, and I took my car both ways on it about a year ago. One here in Pgh too.

Always a cool sight tho, thanks George.

Mark, I think you're right about the photog in the car. Maybe there's a picture of me somewhere pointing up at her (?).

Thank you for your understanding comment on my "Girl's face." You're the only viwer I did not have to explain the circumstances of this photo to.
As to my "Fantasy with J.", I'm sorry you did not like it, but as you wrote, each person has his taste and I respect your honesty.
Best regards,

Very interesting lines, good use of classic composition! :) However, considering your are already using the classic composition here, I guess it might be stronger if 1/5 to 1/4 of the right part horizonal were cropped out so it's more symmetrical and balanced.... Just my personal humble opinion. :)

Regards,
Ellen

A good use of perspective, text book composition as well.
We have one of at least one of these things in this country on the south coast, gives people an easy way up the cliff face.
