Hey Thilo, I didn't mean that you can substitute a real IR filter with PS filter, it was just a thought about the outcome of this specific image :) I'm actually looking forward to try a real one sometime.

hi fadel,
I don't have the original one at hand, but I honestly don't think you get the very same result. there are some filters out there to simulate IR quite well, but nothing can beat the contrasts and the long exposure of real infrared... IMHO ;-)

Interesting work around this, and it looks beautiful! I was thinking about the water and why it looked "strange". I thought it was a reflection of something that I couldn't see excisted. But then I read your text and now I understand! :-)

Splendid once again Thilo! I'm wondering how the original IR looks like, I think you can get similar results without shooting with IR filter, but with simulating it in PS.
