I am not sure myself, although I do know the built-in flash is useless for anything good. The only way to get good results is with a Speedlight 420EX and even that is a tough one to get working. I often have to power down the flash so it's doesn't over expose the pictures. This one picture was done without flash, with the model staying still for aprox a full second. The Elan 7N's on-hood flash also has bad red eye too.
