This is a really strong candid, Dave. Nice shot.
(Your comment from Helmut Newton made me smile, since on the occasion of going digital I took 30,000 photos in that first year. Glad I got it out of my system early. LOL)

Ohh...the expression and the posture you've caught perfectly summarizes her mood. Amazing lighting and shallow dof. Don't worry about digital...it's just a matter of aperture and exposure time. :)
Anyway it seems that you haven't taken too much to manage it.

I been shooting for 35+ years and been into digital for four yrs...Just purchased the Nikon D70S and am kinda' lost myself...It's just a learning curve...Not rocket science...If I can do it I know you can...Judging from this shot and others, you are getting the hang of you camera nicely...

Thank you, I was not expecting you to do that, I just figured I needed to study the users guide a little more. The digital camera is only a week old so I have many new things to learn. I do like it in B/W and the next thing I teach myself is to do the conversion. Thanks again for the help and the comment. BTW I really like your portfolio, I was looking at it the same session as when I posted this pic your "Reflective Clothing" caught my eye.

Audra, Thank you for the comment, I appreciate the imput. Unfortunately I have not mastered the software yet and am having difficulty converting to black and white. I am using a free sample of Nikon Capture and it has me baffled at times. Dave
