About Ok, Ok.... I'm sure you're though with this car, but as a final installment, I just couldn't let this one go unnoticed.

Thank you for all your comments and ideas, Very inspiring for future series.

I'm affraid I cannot comment much on other photos these days, as I'm in China for business. Still, thanks to tom, I have a fine internet connection, and will keep in touch.

For those of you who go away for christmas, I would like to wish everybody a merry chirstmas, and a very happy and prosperous 2005.

With many thanks to Michael Kanemoto, who was kind enough to use his Kanemojo magic on this shot. Many thanks again!

Stunning abstract Hugo. I drove the identical model and colour for 10 years. After seeing this series on your portfolio I can kick myself once again to let it go - All of them to my favourites! (your portfolio is stuniing and chalenging - looking at the standard of your work.Kind regards.

i'm so glad you decided to post this shot, Hugo, as it is my favourite of your godess series. I love the simple yet stunning colour palette, the composition, the minimal dof, & this very unique view of a car. Wonderfully captured & composed. It reminds me of some kind of critter, for some reason, something living & breathing...very cool.

Dear Hugo,

now I believe in a real end here...I can see the vault which you used in this project...it shows us how much you are fallen in love with your car...on a different level of love...

the narrow DOF works well here, the burning sharp drops in the yellow reflection are great...

Take care
Verena

I like your choices here - focusing on the foreground signals the end of the series quite effectively as I see it.

Abstracting, after all the fine literal views looks pretty good, too. We will see some photos of China later I trust.

hi hugo,

nice finisher in the series. the DOF and reflections are awesome. the cherry in this case are the raindrops.

perhaps a bit overdone in terms of an abstraction of the car. without the about, one can hardly see the connection.

anyway, good quality.

cheers,
thilo

posting from china? how cool is that?! good to see your network connection is working as advertised. hope you didn't have many problems getting online.

as to the image, you know what i think of it as we have discussed it at length. but in summary, i like it alot. fits very well in this cycle of construction and deconstruction of the car. we are back where we began in part I and yet, not quite the same. the extended triptych (sextuple?) worked out nicely. well done!

take care,
tom

Hi Patrick, Thanks (again) for correcting the glitches in my about. You're right; I copied the thank you note from Goddess V. Michael did some good stuff to this image, though, but not the sky...:) I corrected this mistake.

Cheers, and thanks for your comment.

And thisone is quite nice again. The orange light draws the immediate attention, after which the eye (at least mine) starts wondering over the rest of the image.. Very nice shot!
