Hello Henk-Jan. I actually reduced the saturation quite significantly in order to give a black and white effect, however not entirely, to keep a subtle purple tinge in the photo. I felt that it added to the 'eerie' effect I had intended. Thank you for your comments :)

A very nice photo. I almost wrote: a fine use of color, but then I remembered another B&W photo on usefilm which also had some colors (?) (only on my monitor!). I viewed the photo on another computer, I still liked it very much, but I prefer the view on my (cripple) monitor, with a little purple on your face (although with some zooming I still see some purple on my other computer). Should this photo really be B&W or is there a really a little bit on purple?
