Very Cool Thilo. The building that's lit up is Francis Ford Coppola's headquarters for Zoetrope Studios. Just a tidbit of info for you. I like the effect.

Hi Thilo, Back to the high quality level I know of you....;) The toning is perfect; hue, contrast and saturation all fit with the atmosphere of the scene. Furthermore, the composition is well balanced. Maybe I would burn the house on the right a bit, but that's only a minor nit picky thing. Very good shot!
Cheers,
Hugo

wicked cool,Thilo! ;> ...great contrast, motion blur and tone...the vintage ghost buildings in the US are sadly disappearing unless a group of historical preservationists step in and fight to save them.....i find the old architectural details far more interesting than the modern, tho' i can appreciate some creative modern designs.....very well done..regards,gayle

Hi Thilo,
The lights of the moving cars give the impression of ghost trying to move away... From what??? From where??? What are they trying to find??? Maybe love or life or simply rest... Maybe they are trying to scape...
Love the contrast between the modern buildings and the old one standing alone in the dark, but full of light... and why not maybe life... She is the only survival of another era... Excellent atmosphere... Well done my friend... In each of your pictures you manage to capture a whole story... Keep up the good work!!!!
Cheers,
MaLuisa

As allways a fantastic image, just like the one from New York City. Lovely sharp contrast and some anarchy of lights that are being kept under control though. The building on the right, lit up it seems like a christmas tree. And to the left one of the most spectacular high-rise buildings in America. You caught it all like you usually manage to add so many interesting ingredients into your shots.
