Another from my days in Japan. Me on a Mt. Fuji hike. They say if you visit Japan and don't climb Mt. Fuji, it means you will return to do so. I think I'll be back regardless. :) Awesome country to visit and shoot if you ever get the chance.

Not that bad of a shot, but it doesn't seem to have any features that really draw the eye. The background is hazy, so all the eye can make out is generic green and grey, undefined clouds. The foreground is well focused, but lacks brilliance. It's also usually a good idea to follow the rule of thirds, although that IS a self-portrait, so that makes for certain limitations, composition-wise (my own attempts at self-portraits have been more or less disastrous...)
