They are truly beautiful Jim. What program are you using on the D70? That tree gives a sense of the size of these mountians. Have fun. Don.

Pfieuwww, what a landscape, sometimes i do really envy you .. as usual a very pleasing capture with the foreground plain acting as a lead towards the mountain range .. the tree is an anchorpoint and a measure of size .. regards, Peter

I've sat awestruck viewing this pic Jim. I love the shadows, the wisps of cloud or snow blowing off the peaks and the lower clouds which just seem to be hovering. Magnificent.

Stunning landscape. I've been there in the spring and it is great. The only weakness to this image (which is a very big nit) is having the large tree centered in the image. It does diminish the impact of the image ever so slightly. Not much you can do about that I suppose. Those mountains particularly when they have snow on them are incredibly dramatic. Great capture.

This is a beautiful photo. I like the crispness of the mountains. The foreground could be a little sharper. But overall, fantastic view and image. BTW, wish I could see it in person, also. Judi
