This is really GOOD Jim, he looks rather wary of you! Yet, one ear twitched picking up other sounds.
Good catch, the grass in the foreground really adds to the impact of this one.

It is the cycle of life I am afraid and the little fox has to eat too! I have never been able to photograph one of these guys and can imagine that they are quite shy! :)

I was across the road in a driveway . I drove up to it and saw the fox run off but he didn't go far. so I went up the road and came back on the other side. he watched me but never ran off till the traffic got heavy
