Eu sou pesaroso que você está perturbado por esta foto. Eu tentava algo unusal para o fundo. Eu tenho que admitir que este veio para fora muito do wierd. Alguém nivela dito que o vaso pareceu flutuar. Mas está sentando-se realmente no tapete. O foco era automático e a câmera escolheu a flor e o fundo traseiros. Agradecimentos para comentar... Peter
I'm sorry that you are disturbed by this photo. I was trying something unusal for the background. I have to admit that this came out very wierd. Someone even said that the vase seemed to float. But it is actually sitting on the rug. The focus was automatic and the camera chose the back flower and background. Thanks for commenting... Peter

Para mim não é fácil explicar em Inglês. A imagem tem algo que me perturba a mente. A simetria das bordas do tapete? O jogo de cores entre o tapete, o vaso e o cravo? A intensidade da sombra, como outros apontaram? É uma imagem perturbadora, mas não lamento que o seja. O campo de trigo de Van Gogh também me perturba a mente, mas eu gosto muito dele...

Agree with Don about the shadow, Peter, but I like how you've got the vase and flowers appearing to float in front of the background. Perhaps bounce lighting would work here as well.

Thanks don for your critique. I was having a bit of fun with my wife's rug. Your right I was having trouble with the shadow. I have a shot that's worse. I did not thing of distance to remove the shadow. I was playing with the lighting.
Thanks again for your help... (the rugs still there and I got more flowers!!! ;~) )

You have great color and exposure. I do feel that the background is too close to the subject. You have a very sharp shadow of the carnation on the background and this would be relived by moving the background farther away. Don.
