A very peaceful image, I love the textures on the old building and the beautiful lighting hitting the subject. I hadn't read your bio, The pictures I was drawn to were on the main photo critique page, I obviously like your work.I loved the quote, on my A quiet afternoon, but I had no Idea who the Author was, now with your info I will have to research it more. Thank you. Alison

very inspiring, Chris........
i love the blond girl and part of the horse tail being blond too! ... the way she caresses the animal and his imponent walk mastered by strong muscles and aristocratic awareness of what's going around him!
Magnificent, Chris!
a Favorite!!!
Thanks for visiting "Mime"!!!
my Best, Regina

Chris I wonder why you do"nt use the ingenious reversal facility on your D70, I much prefer front views, and by the way what happened to the horses tail?????.

Lovely 3D effect from the sharp focus on the horse and slightly defocussed background. Makes the horse stand out so well. Exposure, colours and composition all just about perfect. Do I detect a slightly PS-enhanced similarity between the woman's ponytail and the horse's tail? If not, it's a nice coincidence!

It is a beautiful horse and so well placed in the frame. The yellow blooms in the background add a nice touch of color. Another great image. Don.

Chris, I can actually hear the clapping of the hooves! Yes, I agree - beautiful horse, but also a very good image. I like the contrast between the colourful rider (and that beautiful horse's tail!) and the stonewalls. Linn

Wonderfull...very well captured... :-) Her 'hat' made me smile though!!! :-) It's so amazing with all these old buildings you're surrounded with... does it influence your mind..?? I mean..is a real Englishman as 'old' in his head??? ;-)
