Very good detail Jim.
This is the closest shot I have seen, I have a couple but I was never able to get a close up like this.

LOL!! Only a 'mom vulture' could love this face!! However, they do play a big part in nature, the natural garbage disposal!
Great clarity with this 'stately' bird!! I think the post and barbs are great for this guy!
