Hello Jim,
Nice shot of this majestic bird. Love the colors and reflection. I have to believe these herons are found in every state, well it seems like they are. I have to wait until March before the birds return to my favorite location, Lake Martin.

Isn't he just beautiful. Great Blue Herons are one of my favorites to photograph. This one is exquisite. I see his breeding plumage is just starting to develop, or is just fading away. Wonderful detail and reflection. Beautiful shot.
