Hi, Yashar - no, it was last month, the middle of what passed for summer in these parts. There was a sizable band of broken clouds just above the horizon, with a clear space below so I was able to get the sun passing through the clouds, coming out the bottom and then actually setting against the horizon (or I would have if I hadn't left all my spare film in the car at the bottom of the hill. Oops. :-] ... Thanks for your very kind comment.

Jon, was it in winter? Beautiful. I always tried to get the clouds infront of the sun but never had the chance.very nice. yashar

Hello, Kim - thank you for your kind comments. I used no filters but I did touch up the brightness and contrast a bit when I scanned it.

I have stood in the exact same place, although you were graced with a much more colourful display from the skies! I love the sharpness and detail of the sun, burning in the sky... as well as the layer of ground at the bottom. Saskatchewan is really the Land of the Living Skies! Did you use any filters?
