thanks, Elly - & hey, that's my mom's name, by the way - i don't often come across other Elly's in the world! :O) It's so great that you're starting shooting at 19 - wow, a whole world to discover as you're discovering yourself. Well, i guess that's the same for all of us but there's a lot to be said for the learning & expression of youth! Your portfolio looks great - i especially loved: pink, little star, & birds. thanks, Roger. I love it when we're able to catch these moments in such a way as it seems as though it couldn't have been planned - that we just happened upon them somehow & out of luck or chance or serendipity, we were able to capture that feeling. But maybe we see more than we give ourselves credit for - maybe we do see those moments & that's why we choose to shoot at that very time. Hmmm...i wonder. Whatever it is, i sure like looking at the world through a lens from time to time & trying to capture what i see & feel there. Thanks for your feedback, i appreciate it! :O)

Amazing interpretation of this flower. it goes beyond being merely a "macro" shot. it has a God like quality and allows me to venture forth in my minds eye to yet another place. This being said, knowing this is my response, it has all the great things that I look for in a photo. Something that takes me beyond being merely just a photo.
