Well, couldn't you cram a little more drama into this? Ha, ha.
The juxtaposition of soft cloud with hard steel and glass is interesting, along with the satisfying, saturated colors.

Thanks for the comments. I was in Berlin in June. My wife had a business trip , so I tagged along. Berlin was amazing! We're going to try to live there next summer if possible.

I see what you mean. I hadn't noticed that. I think a more severe angle could have alleviated that. The horizontal line sort of flattens the whole thing out a bit. Thanks.

Dear Erik,
you really made some spectacular shots in Berlin. This one features an interesting perspective and angle, the clouds and the sun shining through add a lot of tension. good format.
the only small concern I have is the horizontal split in the middle. this takes away some of the tension the upright format provides.
Very good one anyway!

Gee thanks Ken. The smokestack idea had not occurred to me. Architect Sir Norman Foster really gave us photographers a lot to chew on with this building renovation. It's supposed to embody the openess of the "new" and united Germany.
