Its hard to tell, because I don't know how many you have to throw away. are these digital shots ? If they are film, then you either got a lot of money or you are REALLY GOOD !!!!

Just one word for ya:

AWESOME!

Do you find that some of the best shots always come at the end (of a roll of film, of a day, of a trip etc)?

This one has so many things that I find pleasing: the elk in sillouette (beautiful antlers!), the amazing colour of the dawn sky, not to mention the foreground red vegetation (heather?), all thrown together into a beautiful and awe-inspiring package.

I think you have captured part of the essence or soul of the elk!

My travels take me from park to park. Started last year in Rocky Mountain and ended up in Yellowstone, Yellowstone and the Tetons most of the time.

Wow, what a way to end a trip, Jim!!
Wonderful silhouette!!
About the most wildlife we see for real is the odd roadkill!!
And even then it's only a fox!
Kind regards, Chris

I think i darkened it a bit with levels, and hit the saturation a tad. thats about it. levels and saturation is about all i do in PS.
