Its hard to tell, because I don't know how many you have to throw away. are these digital shots ? If they are film, then you either got a lot of money or you are REALLY GOOD !!!!

AWESOME!
Do you find that some of the best shots always come at the end (of a roll of film, of a day, of a trip etc)?
This one has so many things that I find pleasing: the elk in sillouette (beautiful antlers!), the amazing colour of the dawn sky, not to mention the foreground red vegetation (heather?), all thrown together into a beautiful and awe-inspiring package.
I think you have captured part of the essence or soul of the elk!

Excelente foto de naturaleza. El gran macho se va de retirada. Los tonos cálidos del atardecer dibujan perfectamente la silueta del elegante y orgulloso ciervo (no toro). Los tonos rojizos del matorral del primer plano aumentan el cromatismo de la imagen y evocan la pasion del gran macho, posiblemente en celo a juzgar por el estado de la cornamenta. En definitiva, un gran trabajo, de gran fuerza visual y calidad técnica.

Phil I think i darkened it a bit with levels, and hit the saturation a tad. thats about it. levels and saturation is about all i do in PS. jimc
