Jon I wish I could be of some help here but I'm very much a newbie and only know a little about what I own, I would suggest however that you make a post in the forums I believe that you would get some opinions from some very much more qualified people.

Hi Lee, of thanks for the nice comment! but I really wanted to get your opinion about something, what do you know or think about 'Tokina lenses'? I am really looking hard at the Tokina 4.5-5.6 ATX 840 II ~ 80-400MM w/tripod mount.
I really like long-range lenses, and if this worked out I could get rid of my 2 70-300's
it is priced around $540.00 but it does have a $40 rebate good until October 31st, what do you think????? advise, your friend....jon

Hi Jon,
The atmosphere of the beach and the watcher is very well captured ! Relaxation of the guests and the high tension of the watcher are nicely contrasting.

Hi Jon, a pleasant series of beach shots. Nice summer scene, with everybody lingering in the hot sand and sea, but only the life guard in full alertness. A nice contrast, which makes the tick in this image. Good shot!
