Well ... there's a wee bit of flare here (understandable given the angle). I hate to put down someone's art, but I agree with Lori - it looks like an instrument junkyard. Prolly more than us'n Tennessee hicks can cope with ;)

There is a massive, dynamic 'sculpture' within the steel walls of EMP. When you first walk in, it is an imposing two-story sculpture comprised of over 600 guitars and other instruments donated from around the country. This "Roots and Branches" tree of music also has about 40 instruments that interactively play music, fired by numerous midi triggers. It continually shifts to play different genres of American music.
