Russell,
Well I had the camera in the passanger's sit, I was sort of holding it just with the tip of my finger, so I could click to take the picture, I had it set as automatic shot after 30 secs. and I moved back a little. I would guess that it was taken at least 80cm away from me, maybe a little more since I moved back.
I hope this answer your question.
Thanks for looking and commenting on my work! :)

Adriana, Lovely self portrait, but i am curious about the distance the camera is away from you. I have assumed the camera is on your lap, about 50cm away. I had a quick looks at the specs for the lens you mentioned and the closest focusing distance is 90cm. Where was the camera placed?? or is there something I have missed. Russell

Confident... Bold....I have self-esteem.... Altogether a fine, feelgood photo! Good job!! Like one you could get with some help from a lube job guy :0)!
Great thought to immortalize as a moment, but never forget to enjoy the glory of Mother Nature though!! http://www.usefilm.com/image/509395.html

Love the angle at which you took it at. It's to bad your skin is a little overexposed, moatly around the cheek. Keep up the good work.

Immortalized! What a great portrait, Adriana. Great skin tone and cool reflection in the shades.
