Luther I love scenes like this with a lot of old and rustic looking wood..another favorite of mine are woodsy pictures so I really like this image..the use of complementary colors really works to bring this falling down old building some life...you contrasted the old and failing with the new and lively with your use of rich colors here...Nicely done....:):)Linda

Thanks for viewing and commenting.
The "red" roof is actually rust. The only red paint appears to be on the wood frame.
The ol;d barn is actually an abandoned movie prop. A year ago it was standing, but starting to lean....

Wonderful shot, Luther. That red roof or what's left of it really stands out. Was everything originally painted red? I see blotches of red on the fence post and rails.

Thanks for the comment on the "barn"..
Other - I like the modified "Reflected House" , The individual segments and collective photo appear more alive (in contrast and color). Thanks for considering the suggestion.

Another beautiful photo. NOw that we have met, I hpe you don't mind my calling you Luther. I amm Rafi. The colors in your "Basrn in ruins II" are brilliant and the old houser is set axactly where it shold be, framed by the green vegetation. The fence adds depth. As to your suggestion concening my "reflected house", please take a look at the attacjed photo. Is this what you had in mind? Regards, Rafi

Thanks for viewing my portforlo and commenting. The old barn and surroundings offers many colorful and interesting views.
Your photo of the dog on the wall is a great example of the capture of the many photo opportunities we see, and which that we had a camera in hand.

Kuoloa Ranch is a beautiful setting for this type of photo.
The old barn is really the remains of a movie production prop used many years ago. Within a few hundred yards are the footprints from the "Godzilla" and "Jurassic Park" productions.

Thanks for the comment.
Some of the saturation is due to the polarizing filter and a bit with PS contast/brightness/level post processing.

Hi Luther, very good composition, and quite an unusual view. Maybe a tad oversaturated, but none the less a very appealing shot. Very good capture!
Cheers,
