About All natural light. I tried touching up the catch light in the right eye to make it sharper, but she just ended up cross eyed. I also tried converting to B&W and bringing up brightness and contrast for a "high key" look, but wasn't quite satisfied with my results. Anyone care to take a shot at that and post the result? In any case - all comments and thoughts always welcomed.

Beautiful expression in this photo. You had a very lovely subject to work with. I think the lighting in your photo is more conducive to an evening setting, which is most likely when her "preparation" would be taking place.
I wouldn't change a thing.
God bless you and yours.

Hi, Armando - I agree with Lou - nice use of B&W and added lighting. This is my first shot at a "portrait" (maybe it should be "fashion"?) and I can see there is much to learn.

Hi, Miguel - thank you for your comments and interest. I do think that you added too much sharpening (although I also think that different monitors render the images differently, which makes it hard to tell). To me it looks like an image which has been deliberately sharpened, rather than one which is naturally sharp.

Hi!
I took Lou Dina version and I added a bit more sharpness! Pherhaps it is too much, I do not Know.
I would lik to know how Lou has coorected the shadow on the face, I tried but my result wasn't so good as Lou's

JON: I found this pic perfect just as it is. Besides being a good picture the model is beautiful, it look also well with more light just as put our friend Lou Dina
but since you requested comments and to proof, i dared to prove with the B&W but i dont know if you like it .

I agree, fill in flash would have been nice. Beautiful lady. I used the Shadow/Highlight filter in Photoshop CS and added just a little sharpening to the eyes. Lou

I think fill flash would have done wonders here. Let me see what I can do...
