This photo is uncomparably beautiful, Antonella. It remind me of a photo I took in 1982, but instead of the moon there was a bird and it was day. I'll upload it if and when I find it.

Hi Antonella, I think this is the best one of this series yet; the sky and the moon ad a great deal of tension and appeal. Very well exposed, and I love the perspective.
Again, I notice the D100 noise at 1600 ASA. I noticed in my shots too, even with NR). Have you tried to take this shot at a lower ASA setting? (If 15s is correct, you could try it at 200 ASA f11?) I wonder if that would solve the problem...

The starry-shape of the moon is given by the long exposure like on all the other pictures taken in similar situations.

Interesting shot with the full moon, I assume the rays are caused by a split filter. Let me compliment you with the fantastic texture of the tower and the fine details and colortones. A perfect example of how it should be done. Congratulations, Antonella. Ciao, Robbie.
