About
My previous photo is of this incredibly sculpted (by Mother Nature) Spiny Tail Lizard called Uromastyx. This species as the name indicates, is originally a native of Mali, but now heavily commercialized to satisfy the reptile enthusiasts' urge to own one and keep captive as household pets. It's a sad thought, if you ask me:-(!
I learnt that United Nations Environment Program & Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora regulates which animals or plants can be taken from the wild. So, is there hope, I wonder, to prevent the Super Ape (Modern Human) from making a fast buck off Mother Nature, capitalizing on today's commerical demand for exotic pets?
You'r really into this nature trip aren't you? Good stuff. And thank you for your comments on my photograph titled "The Ploughing Season". Best Wishes to you.
I just added you to my friends' list. I hope that you don't object and reciprocate. I chose this particular photo to comment on at random. Actually I like all your photos, more than 60 of them. Thank you for your comment on my "Before takeoff" Regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi) Springmann
