great shot, melisa. you've captured the feel and mood of a cozy neighboorhood bar. great exposure with good contrast. i also like the fuzzy edges from the slow shutter. shooting it in B&W adds to the mood very well. wonderful!
since you seem to like bars, i wonder what you think of my bar series?

I love it. I am a bar afficianado (self proclaimed) too, and there are few images more salty and romantic than a B&W bar. Especially the "old beerjoints". The hell with the modern fern bars, gimme something that looks like there should be a spitoon in the corner, and some old "My Wife ran away with my brother" country screecher playing on the jukebox. This shot is nearly perfect in its' composition and lighting..all except for...NOOOO! Is that a KENO machine at the far end of the bar?????
