About Polaroid Emulsion Lift from a slide. (transferred through a slide printer and then emulsion is "boiled" off and transferred to another receptor/surface).

Again, I love getting in close and bringing out the formal and abstract qualities in everyday things. You might realize this is a habit of mine.

This is from a palm tree in front of my office, this particular "leaf" or "frond" (I believe that's what it's called) is dead and dried out.

Note: The "white spot" on the photo is actually a hole in the emulsion lift. I don't mind it, though. It gives it character.
and... There's some slight blurring in the corners, but I believe that is from the scan. The paper wouldn't lay flat on the scanner.
