About Would cropping to the subjects improve this picture, or would the loss of context take away from it? If I was composing the scene (instead of "finding") it I would have moved the toys and clutter from in front of the couch.

I like this image, the lighting from outside reflects on their faces perfectly. I love window shots and them watching is too cute. I love how relaxed the cat is. I say dont crop it! I too am learnign to quit cropping my pictures, we take out the depth and heart of a picture! Also dont always try to center everything, this one is off to the side a bit, I like it. I am working on that one also.
Thank you for you and your wife's comments I will make another v ersion to post tomarrow of my cat picture.

Hi Jon. I tried to crop the image, but it looses it?s different touch.
In your version it is noticeable that little Joey (quite ?alone?), relies on
Spik, watching?.. what?s going on outside the window.
Thank you for your comment, Best regards from Switzerland.

I say there is room for cropping. it's beautiful. love the moment captured. sometimes you just have to go for it to get that moment captured or you'll loose it. especially when they are small. beautiful lighting. great job.
