Damn this is spooky when I first look at it. Takes a minute to get used to...to see what it really is. Still has an edge to it for me, but it's so mavelously involving to the eye. Good, Sandy!!

Nice composition idea with one head turned and one facing. Sharpness could come up a touch. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be the urban myth that comes to life... (where the new cat turns out to be a weird breed of Indonesian rat that runs amok when everyone's sleeping... hehe)

I think Mary and Robin have good points on this one. The purple tones in the cat would normally be a little off-putting, but here they too fit in rather nicely.

this really is strange..the kitten is actually rather small..maybe about 3 months old..the body is skinny and almost hairless..but the head and ears are huge! lol
thanks everyone..i really thought this an unusual photo as well.. strange still when i look at it..the over exposed ears was a hard one..i used built in flash unfortunatley from about three and a half to four feet away..the cat;s ears were like huge reflectors..tried adding a bit of colour..but it looked silly..so i left as is..if anyone has any suggestions i would be more than pleased.. :) thanks for taking the time to comment everyone..
i appreciate it. \

Hi Sandy The cat is a stunning beauty. I love siamese cats and this in a really amazing black one. Love the way you composed this photo, making the cat the main object. Lovely colours. Only.... the light in the cat's ears is a little strange, and on the right of the image is a distracting line which is not quite straight. Did you forget to crop it out or did you leave it there on purpose? Nevertheless, a very nice capture with awesome colours, my friend!

Composition and subject are faultless and really quite appealing,a little more distance and slightly longer focal length to compensate would sort out the flash level better, still a nice image, well done,Regards,Rod.

a wildly creative image!! I can't stop laughing! I'm wondering if the child is aware that that cat is so freaky, ie. HUGE...or perhaps, the child shares similar facial features!!? the child is the cat's servant, works all day grooming it and feeding it minced sushi? good work, fabulous use of montage. :)

love the echo between the pigtails and the cat's ears...also think that the hot pink of her sweater suits the theme pefectly along with the slight vinetting that I think I am picking up here...
