WOW! Is that cigaret smoke? Very nice. This one looks like a theater of shadows. In my country we have this theater many years ago, from 1800-1900 and still excist!

i was smiling too - lots of different ways to look at this and why it's successful - you could pass it without knowing what it's about and juggle scenarios right accross the board - great fun Sandy

Seems a bit of back projection theater. Each image is one act? I like these....unusual and imaginative!!

Great idea, Sandy. I like the shadow of the hand. Gives the perfect idea of the woman's impatience of wanting to be let in. Excellent toning and motion effects. Superbely done!

easier said than done
great dramatic tension created by the shadows and the movment (both implied and created by the slight blur) in them. I think the orangish tone adds to the tension too.

He shot her at last and is blowing the smoke away from his gun... or smoking a cigar in satisfaction. Thrilling and very cinematic.... sparks off my imagination big time!! love it :)

Sandy - Great series (or at least the beginning of one!). I keep going back and forth between this one and "dust". I think I prefer the warmer tones in this one, and I definitely like the addition of the second character, but the silhouette from the other photo just can't be beat! Anyway, both are excellent and very creative. Regards, Chris
