Hi Kathleen. I just wanted to say that I like the use of negative space on this one. I don't have a problem with the face being soft. Instead I would have liked to see the hooks and the equipment that he was suspended from be a little sharper. Interesting how we both shot a similar event, but our photos are very different. I'm having great fun looking at your work. -Fred

Thanks for the feedback. This subject matter does tend to make people cringe a bit. My intention is not to offend but to bring people's attention to things they may never have been exposed to before.

I agree about his face.. I wish I'd had a slightly different depth of field, but he moved right after that.

This one has a lot more tension and better lighting to give some attitude to the image. Still makes me cringe, though! Wish that his face wasn't so soft... the hooks in his back are nicely focused though!(7)
