Roger, thanks for your reply. Here what happened: when I went to the circus I brought 2 cameras,a Nikon D100 ( digital ) and an F 100 with the Tamron lens and 800 ISO Superia. Of course it was pitch black, especially when I shot up high at the flying artists with a single spotlight on them. The black areas came out very grainy in the prints,in fact I have not even scanned them. I used the photos made with digital 800 ISO setting and they came up much better. But,naturally, these are extreme cases! I bought a 400 ISO which I still have to try and I will try it in daylight. Unfortunately the weather is really bad, very cold, but not clear. There is an awful grey light which makes everything flat and unappealing. Thanks again Roger, have a good day! Antonella

That's even better than the previous one,as you could include the tops of the skyscrapers. Great perspective! Antonella

Great view, excellent composition! - I really would like to see the original (knowing that you lost a big part of the quality by the resizing :-(

that lens really picks up on certain colors orange I think I am a bit color blind. I thought Nob's hill couldn't be in japan..looks a fine shot maybe a tad over exposed in the centre...roger
