I like the saturated colours and grain-free pictures in your gallery, in particularly this one. Everytime I see a good digital picture, it makes me wonder if I should drop my old pentax. Good placement of the sun and the tree.
PS- thanks for your recent comment on my picture. I don't know much about the canon 10D or digital photography. I assume that you'll have to get the best picture you can before working with them in photoshop; if that means using filters, so be it.
For my seascape series, I use a warm-up to compensate for the bluish tone on velvia while taking long exposure and a split neutral density filter to control the overly bright sky during sunsets.
I take pictures when it's getting dark because that's when I'm free (yes, I have to work).

Nice photoshop work.. I do think the contrast between the orange and the desaturized ground/tree makes the image feel a bit unreal though. If that was the idea: Well done..;)

Nicely done. I like the orange sky and the snowy foreground. I don't care for the blue glow of the snow on the tree. Looks like a cold place!
