About	Colorado skies are not the thing most people are used to. Boulder is just 20 miles from thje divide and presents a situatio that produces other worldly images - they challenge my eye as I look at them and force me to see things coherentltly while the skie forms unbelieveable colors and designs. Some look like there must be a terrible wind and there isn\'t. And yes, there is stuff on the surface of the water - algae and water vegetation - a result of the drought - this image along with many seeks to document this.

I haven't seen one of your images that I don't really, really like...including this one! You capture colors very well. I'm somewhat familiar with the area having driven through from Utah many times to visit family in Littleton.

I'm wondering if you have taken any pictures of the area on the highway between Ft. Collins and Laramie. I just drove through there this passed Labor Day on my way home. I was lucky enough to be there just as the sun was rising. What a fabulous landscape with wild color! Too rushed to stop for pictures.

It's really hard to post an image that will appearthe same lightness on everyone's screen. I have a spyder screen calibrator and it looks different on my CRT and a 1600X1200 LCD on my laptop - in print - different again - and I can tell you trying to calibrate a printer to look like a monitor is an exercise i n futility. Thanks for the comment.

I really like this picture. The clouds are very dynamic and the water is a nice foreground. If I could change anything about this pic it would be to lighten it slightly.
