About It was very crowded, so I had little time to make this shot. There was an interesting rainbow color effect, but in the result print only a small remains of that is left. Anny suggestion on better exposure?

look like a movie, exposure serves the purpose only and is not everything in a photo, cant really tell if it needed more exposure.. but without that mystic blue mood I would never loved this picture.

Hi Wouter, I think the part with the interesting rainbow effect is too light, making it less visible. Therefore I expect that with some underexposure you would have achieved a better result. Or: if your camera has spot metering, you could have used it to mneasure light on the part with the rainbow. It is also very well possible that the photo is printed too light: the darkest parts aren't really black. So you can go back to the lab and ask to print it a little darker. See attachment for how it may look like with better exposure / printing (I adjusted the tone scale; besides of that, I darkened the light edge, and lightened up the girls face a little bit).

Surreal...I like the mystical mood.
