Ana, You know that feeling you get when you think your "real smart", but there's something out there that you just "don't get"??? That's the way I usually feel when studying abstract art. I hate to admit it, but it just makes me feel stupid. There! Anyone else out there dare to admit it?? Anyway, even though I struggle to connect, I want you to know that if the abstractions come from you, I'm going to keep trying! ...Brad

I'm still digesting the emotion on this one. Very subtle to me like the beginning of a sculpture.

I mean not "truly" abstract because it is not pure essence in shape and form......like a Rothko or a Gottlieb. It has a human presense in it. I would say it is abstract like Franz Marc's paintings of horses.

Also, Ana, I find the truncated bottom on this visually pleasing.....and interesting.

This is fascinating. Not truly an abstract because it contains the impression of an objective thing......a human form. I think Mary Bell has the sense of it. Good, Anna!!

Lovely... and the colours are perfect in my eyes This made me think of Parisian Pierrot at first, then out of the image a little baby was born... beautifully beautifully strange Cherie
