What I really like in this pic is the light... maybe a little "empty" the composition... 4 my tastes maybe would be better with a figure walking in the right... The "stick" in the bottom maybe is a little too close to the border... However good picture... Regards

Thank you for your comment on my "Steps" photo. I thought I'd like to see who commented, so I visited your portfolio. I see you are from Lithuania. Perhaps this very cold scene is from your country? I can almost smell the cold! And hear the snow squeak under my boots. I like the soft, gentle colours and the fading light; I think it will soon be dusk. If there had been a little sunshine on that big tree on the left, enough to add sparkle to the snow on the branches, that would have been nice. But we have to take the scene as we find it. Well, unless we think we can improve on Nature, we do. Best regards, Roger.

Thanks for your comment, yes, I do sharpen all pictures taken with digital camera or scanned. It is almost always the last activity. Some pictures I frame and sharpening comes before that. But, I do very discreet sharpening, up to 1.0 pixels. Best wishes, Alex
