This is a great shot for composition. I feel it lacks a bit of contrast however-which can be dificult to acheive in snow shots- perhaps a touch of the unsharp mask would help...and still- a lovely, lonely photo.

Ok, five words
Frozen Desolate Depressing Eternal Excellent!!!
This is a great shot, but just a tad blurry, too cold and no tripod right? I think this would work well in the ?alone? project -Mike

The dark background distracts from the subject. A different angle for composition may help. You also need to adjust your levels and bring the snow closer to white. Try sharpening the image too.

Wonderful composition, Sarah! From this angle you've got the perspective of the hill converging with the lines of headstones.....making for an interesting image. Like the balance of darks to lights too. Cheers!!

Great repetition and composition in this piece-Dan is right, a strong feeling od solitude, and a little sadness too. You chose a wonderful perspective on this, gives this piece a lot of depth.
