I like the appeal of this photo, however, I don't like flash much for taking a portrait. As you can see in this one it makes the face "flat." It is an interesting face too and I like the tilt of the head. Nice catchlights in the eyes and the face is soft but it could have been made a little more interesting and by using some dimentional lighting. Now,I take it that this might be you or a friend so I am thinking that you could have taken some time to really make a nice portrait of a very soft smooth face.
