Hi Jackie...like this very much! Only thing i am wondering is...if you used a polarizer on this one the sheen thats on the leaves in the background and some on the main leaf may have disappeared and given the leaves an even richer color throughout the whole image. Just a picky comment but worth a try next time.
I still like it as is...makes me feel cold so you definitely were successful on this one!...*smile*...Maggie

I like the new crop. The original cropping on the left was a bit too close for my taste, too. This is perfecto!

This image really evokes the crisp, cold beauty of fall. You must live in a beautiful place

Here is one that shows a bit more around the edges. There should be many opportunities for me to shoot these pictures - I live in Northern NY, so this time of year often finds fall and winter colliding to produce some beautiful images.

Very cool, Jackie! Wish I had taken frost pictures with the digital cuz my first frost images are having a lovely time being developed by Fuji in Phoenix! Of course, my digi would NEVER have been able to capture such detail, and I'll count myself lucky if the film images turn out half as good as this! (Might have liked a little more room off the tips of the leaf, but that's just me.) Great job! As Bob pointed out, very frameable!

I really like this one. I have seen close ups of leaves with water droplets, but rarely see photos like this with frost. The little piece of ice is cool, but I especially like the detail you got on the frost edging. I also like the contrast of the reds/oranges and the white.
