Grant, nice wave... reef too though huh! Save up your pocket money and buy a nice 600mm f2.8 with a TC - that'd make this shot cracking! Surfing does indeed take you away from it all. I surfed regularly for 3 years when at Uni but now it's a distant memory -great for clearing out the brain though... ohh and gives the body a better work out than any gym cn ever do. Off to look at your other pics now - probably never use Usefilm and I'll be watsing my time with this critique!

I reckon this works well grant...Kostas is not asking for much?? I surf myself here in Byron but wouldn't attempt surf shots need too much lens. Give me your email I will send you some of the things about my BW, mine is taojones@sae.edu regards roger

not a surfer myself,but I like this image.I would like it much more,though,if you had zoomed closer to the surfer and also managed to have him sunlighted. bye ;-)

beautiful wave, i'm a windsurfer and i feel the same solitude when riding. the picture could be better if you can see the face of surfer
