Saw this scene in Charleston, SC, and thought it poetic and provocative. However, it has elicited zero interest. Is it too literary, too political, or just dull?
George - I see your point. I think the picture can be seen as a political statement - though I do not know whether this was intended - and it certainly has emotional appeal. I think the problem with it is the composition - the frame is "packed" and apart from the road sign there is little else to make it visually appealing.
Dead end!!!. What do they mean - the road comes to an abrupt end or anyone visiting that dodgy looking house come to an unfortunate end 'dead end'!!!. I am not sure what it is. Anyway- something interesting, George.
