mohammed, maybe the programme of the ae1 tricked you or the other way around. the pictures definitely seems too dark. i cannot see anymore what your idea was you wanted to show and as much as the technique to reduce colour on a colour photo so much that it ends up like a b/w one, there still remains the question of readable composition and/or contrast structure. the nile is there every day so you can try again and show us the development of your idea. btw: i propose to chose a more significant part of the cairo skyline, say closer to the nile hilton or the nile tower? just an idea.
