Really like your photo. Good photo journalism...Makes me wonder about..who came here? what was this place like when it was busy? how long ago was that? where is this place? Photo evokes all kinds of questions and kinda takes me "there" ..wherever "there" is...stimulates the imagination.

Frank,
It seems strange not having a planet or moon coming up over the horizon in one of your shots. As far as the power pole and air conditioner, I think it adds irony to the composition and should stay. The old gas pumps, the old scraggley building and weeds but with the modern comforts of a/c. Yeah, I like it. By the way, I have enjoyed your work!

Interesting location. Would like to see more under different lighting conditions if you can return. Something with the sun lower in the sky (morning or evening - less shadows) would work better for me.

Interesting, well-exposed photo. The scraggly tree complements the scraggly building.
Corrections in photoshop (or other photo editor) might not be your thing, but I think I would have removed the electric pole and wires on the right, and the air conditioner on the roof.
